Adipex.
Adipex (phentermine) is an anti-obesity drug intended for people unable to lose their weight on their own. This medicine works by affecting your brain centers responsible for food cravings, helping you do with less food without suffering from those food cravings. Adipex is quite safe and very efficient – it works for most people taking it, and those with high body mass are likely to benefit most for the treatment. Adipex is usually well tolerated, although side effects are still possible and can include constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, and unpleasant taste. More serious side effects are quite rare, but you still need to know about the possibility. The following ones have been reported by some patients using Adipex: heart palpitations, dizziness, insomnia, chest pain, tremor, shortness of breath, restlessness, dizziness, and increased blood pressure. Unlike the mild side effects mentioned, the serious side effects will need to be reported to your health care provider right away. You will need to talk to your doctor about any other prescription or over-the-counter meds you are taking at the moment, as interactions have been reported. The following drugs can interact with Adipex: oral insulin or diabetes medications, high blood pressure meds, guanethidine, antidepressants, and guanadrel.
